Wake Up Now Now Going Out of Business
Is network marketing company Wake Up Now going out of
business? So it seems as reported in Business For Home Direct
Selling Facts and Figures & MLM News, “Wake Up Now –
Going Out Of Business” by Ted Nuyten on February 10,
Looking at the article closely it seems that Ted may had seen the
light early or had “first dibs” on occurrences within the company.
I say this because he wrote 3 previous articles:
*** in May 2014, about WUN financial concerns
*** in October 2014, CEO Kirby Cochran stepped down
*** 29 January 2015, Wake Up Now was looking for a new
investor and not paying out commissions.
These were challenges the company was having prior to this
article that I am talking about.
According this latest article, the company denied earlier they
were having commission payment problems. However, a
previous statement by one of WUN’s top earner, Eric Turner,
validated that Business For Home was on spot.
It breaks my heart to see, such a thing happening consistently in
this wonderful industry.
Quite a number of network marketing companies that have really
made an impact in distributors lives have gone out of business
When this occurs as in Wake Up Now case,
“Ten thousands of distributors are left in the dust.”
Does it have to be that way?
Can this be changed? Who knows?
Is there hope for those distributors who wants to continue
living the MLM lifestyle?
A certain thing is clear, network marketing, direct sales is an
industry. As an industry, I would suppose that there are things
that can be done for support to avoid these kind of occurrences.
Many other industries, such as insurance, banking, transportation
have insurances or re-insurance to help each other and help folks
to have confidence in the industry.
Apparently, other industry professionals saw the challenges that
led to Wake Up Now, demise early. What could have been done?
Each time a well publicized or popular company such as Wake
Up Now, goes out of business it hurts, the industry.
It adds relevance to all the MLM nay-sayers who speaks of multi-
level marketing delusion and are against this industry.
It strengthens their bite and give energy to their bark. If you have
ideas that you think can be applied to protect this industry why
